Conduct product development tasks as assigned by PD staff that include the coordination and operation of the pilot plant.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/certification:
High school and/or college related course work in food science.
Experience:
2 years of operations or lab experience with an understanding of the batching process.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of:
- Batching and packaging equipment.
- Compounding skills.
- Basic PC word processing/ spreadsheet software
- Basic Food Preparation Techniques/Safe Food Handling GMP’s
- Basic Research Skills
- Basic Presentation Skills
Skill and ability to:
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Read, process and follow written direction with a high degree of accuracy
- Work effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high levels of quality and customer service
