JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Compliance Auditor is responsible for protecting assets by completing audits; ensuring compliance with regulations and internal controls; and recommending improvements in internal control structure.
COMPENSATION: Range from $33,000/yr to $42,000/yr

Responsibilities
Primary Objectives:
- Coordinate GSF Quality activities and operations to meet objectives for quality, food safety, regulatory compliances, cost, safety and customer satisfaction at KanPak.
- Participate in formulating and administering division’s short and long range goals and objectives for business growth
- Performs audits of relevant charts, records, and reports for production lots to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and company requirements
- Creates databases and data summaries that enable effective decision-making for process improvement
- Leads or participates in the development and execution of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, regulatory compliance, and product quality programs
- Evaluates product holds for disposition, participates in company audits, and ensures accurate and timely release of finished product lots
- Performs tasks in compliance with all company standards
- Performs any other duties assigned or required by management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
- Knowledge of GMP Compliance standards in food and beverage manufacturing
- Ability to communicate and present to all levels of an organization
- Ability to solve problems as a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Qualifications
Employment Requirements:
- Degree in food science or related field or minimum of three years quality control and/or manufacturing experience
- Experience with HACCP programs and/or ability to obtain certification
- FDA Better Process School Certification or ability to obtain certification
- PCQI Certification or ability to obtain certification
