Overview
JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of our Quality Systems or a Project Manager an Intern in manufacturing provides basic engineering analysis and support on a variety of plant-wide projects. An Intern conducts quality systems task/project work as assigned by staff.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: must have completed at least one year of college with a focus toward food science, animal/meat science, manufacturing, a similar emphasis
Experience:
A strong interest in understanding food processing and the process of quality assurance involved with the manufacturing of food type products
Knowledge of:
- Basic PC word processing/ spreadsheet software
- Basic Food Preparation Techniques/Safe Food Handling GMP’s
- Basic Research Skills
- Creativity and Passion to make food better
- Basic Presentation Skills
Skill and ability to:
- Communicate effectively with mentor verbally and in writing
- Read, process, and follow written direction with a high degree of accuracy
- Work effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high levels of quality and customer service
