Clinic Supervisor

Description

We are looking for a Full Time Clinic Supervisor to join our team.

Job Duties Include:

• Developing and managing the schedule of all Clinic staff, including managing days off schedules
• Overseeing the performance and workload of clinic staff
• Communicating disciplinary problems to the manager
• Working as a “float” to support Clinic staff and Physician schedules when needed
• Scheduling patients, maintaining inventory, processing orders, explaining insurance benefits, and calling patients to follow up
• Fitting patients with braces, boots, other DME as ordered and directed by physician
• Assessing patients’ general condition and collecting a focused patient history when working as a Physician Extender
• Collaborating with physicians to develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs
• Providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions to patient
• Casting and splinting application and removing as appropriate
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

License/Certification:

• Certified Athletic Trainer preferred

• Cooperative work attitude toward co-employees, management, patients, visitors, and physicians
• Ability to promote favorable facility image with physicians, patients, hospitals, other physician offices, and public
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems
• Ability to triage patient care questions related to post-op, post-injury, infection, complications, etc.
• Work effectively as team member with physicians and other staff
• Appropriately interact with patients, families, and others
• Ability to flexibly respond to changing demands

Experience:

• 1 year of experience in medical office (Preferred)
• EMR/EHR experience a plus, NextGen (Preferred)

Pay Range:

• $29.00 to $32.00 per Hour

*Higher compensation may be available for someone with advanced skills and/or experience
