Are you an experienced athletic trainer seeking a unique opportunity to work closely with professional sports team physicians in the Bay Area? This is a rare opportunity to take your career to the next level by working closely with our physicians to help treat professional athletes and lead a dedicated clinic team. In this role you would become the clinic supervisor for our San Francisco office.
Job Duties Include:
- Developing and managing the schedule of all Clinic staff, including managing days off schedules
- Overseeing the performance and workload of clinic staff
- Communicating disciplinary problems to the manager
- Treating in clinic as advised by physicians and supporting clinic staff as needed
- Scheduling patients, maintaining inventory, processing orders, explaining insurance benefits, and calling patients to follow up
- Fitting patients with braces, boots, other DME as ordered and directed by physician
- Assessing patients general condition and collecting a focused patient history when working as a Physician Extender
- Collaborating with physicians to develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs
- Providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions to patient
- Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
License/Certification:
- Certified Athletic Trainer
Qualifications:
- Cooperative work attitude toward co-employees, management, patients, visitors, and physicians
- Ability to promote favorable facility image with physicians, patients, hospitals, other physician offices, and public
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems
- Ability to triage patient care questions related to post-op, post-injury, infection, complications, etc.
- Work effectively as team member with physicians and other staff
- Appropriately interact with patients, families, and others
- Ability to flexibly respond to changing demands
Experience:
- 3 years of experience as Athletic Trainer or 1 year medical office experience
- 1 year of Supervsior experience
- EMR/EHR experience a plus, NextGen (Preferred)
Pay Range:
- $30.00 to $34.00 per Hour, higher compensation may be available for someone with advanced skills and/or experience
