Golden State Orthopedics & Spine is one of the largest orthopedic practices in the Bay Area. We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (PA) to treat in our Orthopedic Urgent Care clinic, Orthopedic Express. The NP or PA may perform delegated functions as appropriate to their "scope of practice" under the direction and supervision of the physician. In general, our urgent care treats a wide variety of orthopedic problems including sprains and strains, fractures, lacerations, sports injuries, dislocations, arthritis, and tendinitis.
Job Duties Include:
The Allied Health Professional may perform delegated functions as appropriate to their “scope of practice” under the direction and supervision of the physician.

Performing direct and indirect general orthopedic care.

Performing admission evaluation of new patients, obtains medical history.

Performing physical exams and reporting into patient’s medical record

Assisting in performing office-based procedures.

Qualifications
License/Certification:
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner by the Nurse Practitioner Board of California or
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant by the Physician Assistant Board of California
- Current DEA license
- BLS certification
Qualifications:
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner by the Nurse Practitioner Board of California or
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant by the Physician Assistant Board of California or
- Current DEA license
- BLS certification
Pay Range:
- $120,000 to $140,000 per Year
*Higher compensation may be available for someone with advanced skills and/or experience
