Description
We are looking for a Full Time Unit Secretary to join our team.
Job Duties Include:
- Scheduling follow-up patient appointments
- Compiling chart documents
- Registering patient information such as insurance or disability/work status information,
- Assisting patient with diagnostic and surgery instructions
- Following up with patient messages and refill requests
- Assisting the back office Medical Assistants with rooming patients, including taking medical histories as needed

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Familiarity with all insurance types
Experience:
- Experience with EMR/EHR clinical software (NextGen, EPIC)
- 2 years previous experience in medical office preferred
License/Certification:
- Current CMA required
Pay Range:
- $21.00 to $23.00 per Hour
*Higher compensation may be available for someone with advanced skills and/or experience
