Job Overview :
Outside Parts Salesperson will be responsible for generating sales of heavy-duty truck parts by developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers in the assigned territory. The sales position will work directly with fleet managers, independent truck operators, and service departments to provide solutions that meet the customers parts needs. This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts and excellent sales abilities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Account Management : Maintain and grow an assigned customer base by consistently meeting and exceeding the parts needs.
- Sales Growth : Identify new business opportunities within the territory, and develop strategies to increase market penetration.
- Customer Service : Provide exceptional service and ensure that customers receive accurate information regarding parts availability, pricing, and lead times.
- Territory Management : Regularly visit customers on-site, understanding their requirements, and ensuring that our dealership is their preferred partner for truck parts.
- Order Management : Process and follow through on customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction.
- Sales Reporting : Track sales activities, customer interactions, and order histories through CRM or other tools provided by the company.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the Parts Department, Service Department, and Truck Sales to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Problem Solving : Address customer issues, complaints, and returns efficiently, maintaining positive client relationships.
- Product Knowledge : Stay up-to-date on new parts, industry trends, and market conditions to provide informed recommendations to customers.
