An experienced Property Manager, reliable, honest, responsible, driven, resourceful problem solver, understanding, and firm individual, skilled in managing the daily operations of a portfolio of properties. You will be accountable for the full management life-cycle of a property, including turnover, showings, screening, leasing, inspections, and work orders. You are engaging and have the ability to build rapport with tenants, individual landlords, vendors, and co-workers. You are willing to continue growing your knowledge base and adapt to technology updates. You understand that knowledge sharing with team members and building on lessons learned is critical to the success of all.
Job Function
- Oversee daily activity of assigned properties
- Show Vacant Properties
- Screen tenants
- Lease
- Collect rents
- Enforce Terms of the lease
- Communicate with maintenance coordinators
- Communicate with Landlords/Owners
- Collaborate with maintenance coordinators on work orders
- Review and Approve all invoices
- Build Relationships
Qualifications
- Must hold an active California Real Estate License
- Knowledge and understanding of California Fair Housing Laws
- Knowledge of Local Rent Control Laws
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing rental properties
- Experience working with private landlords
- Knowledge of contract and leasing language
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Detail Oriented
- Problem solver
- Resourceful
- Experience in Customer Service
- Professional appearance
- Willingness to learn new skills and procedures
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, and Teams)
Preferred Qualifications a plus, but not required
- HOA Management experience with knowledge of Davis Sterling
- Commercial Management experience
- Ability to work with spreadsheets
- AppFolio Experience
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60K - $70K annually
