We are partnering with a construction client in Richmond (starts onsite, with opportunity to go hybrid after training) looking for a Payroll & Compliance Specialist.
$70-75k (plus bonus and strong benefits)

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify subcontractor payroll records for compliance.
- Submit certified payroll documents to Owners and the State.
- Prepare compliance reports (apprenticeship, workforce, skilled & trained).
- Work with subcontractors to resolve compliance issues.
- Coordinate with compliance monitoring groups and prepare for audits.
- Reports to Compliance Supervisor.
- Works closely with Project Accountants, Payroll, AP, and Project Teams.
- Communicates with Owners and subcontractors.
- 2 years of payroll compliance experience in construction.
- Knowledge of CA Labor Code & Davis-Bacon Laws.
- Experience with LCP Tracker, Elations, eCPR preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong communication and teamwork.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- High accuracy, confidentiality, and initiative.
- Excellent follow-through and accountability.
