Payroll Manager
A family-owned company with a close-knit culture, is seeking an individual contributor Payroll Manager to join their team. This role will be highly visible as part of the HR function, overseeing payroll for approximately 200–250 employees. This role is requiring someone who can wear multiple hats and contribute broadly to the company’s HR and payroll needs.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
• Payroll Expertise:
o Must have strong knowledge of California hourly wage laws, including overtime regulations and compliance for new hires/terminations.
o Payroll is processed bi-weekly for both hourly and salaried employees.
o Experience with Paycom, particularly in customizing reports, would be a significant advantage.
• Cultural Fit:
o The company prides itself on a family-oriented culture.
o The Payroll Manager will act as a key face of HR, requiring strong interpersonal skills.
• Additional Details:
o Bilingual proficiency (Spanish) is highly preferred.
o The role is primarily onsite
o The company has a small number of salaried employees across the country (New York, Georgia, Texas).
Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary: $125K–$150K with an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
• Retirement:
