Our real estate-related entity client is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to manage financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role will oversee core accounting functions, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee Accounting & Reporting: Manage financial reporting, general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Handle Financial Operations: Oversee receivables, payables, bank accounts, taxes, audits, and vendor relationships.

Perform Monthly Close: Reconcile bank accounts, review P&L, analyze budget variances, and adjust journal entries.

Support Business Onboarding: Ensure proper AR/AP setup, manage ACH payments, process loan schedules, and establish bank accounts.

Prepare Compliance Reports: File sales tax, lending reports, assist with budgets, and support year-end CPA reporting.

Ensure GAAP Compliance: Improve accounting processes, conduct cost analysis, and enhance financial systems.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

7 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Yardi experience is required.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
