Golden SVCS Contract Manager in Region 11 has the responsibilities for overseeing all aspects of assigned contract work or project to ensure program goals and objectives are achieved or exceeded. Primary duties include on site managerial responsibilities in recruiting, logistics, procurement, transportation, finance and administrative actions by performing assigned tasks that are vital to quality project management. Position requires a secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Oversees programmatic and administrative implementation of contract. Ensures each employee is familiar with their post, duties, and responsibilities to effectively perform their role. Provides effective supervision of employees. Supervisory personnel shall be available to receive and implement orders.
- Manage the work associated with the protective services required herein to assure fully adequate and timely completion of these services. Included in this function will be a full range of management and administrative duties including planning, scheduling, report preparation, establishing and maintaining records and quality control.
- Document and implement procedures which ensure the effective management and take immediate appropriate action if there is reasonable cause to suspect that an individual is a hazard to themselves or others, or is not ready, willing and able to perform duties.
- Acts as liaison between contractor and government stakeholders.
- Ensure contract compliance with policies, schedules, and deliverables.
- Oversees staffing plan, forecasts need, leads recruiting efforts, manages candidate lifecycle from inception to onboarding.
- Provide continuous assessment and evaluation to identify protective services weaknesses and vulnerabilities and initiate corrective action.
- Oversee 100% accountability of equipment inventory (sensitive items). Research proper selection and procurement of specialized equipment.
- Conduct investigations, prepare and maintain documentation and records.
- Recognize courses of action which can be taken to handle problems or potential problems and applying contingency plans to solve those problems.
- Provide security audits, inspections, reviews, and assessments.
- Prepare and present security awareness, crime prevention, emergency management, and other security briefings as required.
- Maintain an updated list of employees working under this contract and their designated locations.
- Create, maintain, and prepare records and reports.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration
- Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Must be able to pass a background investigation to include but not limited to criminal, credit and driving record checks
- Must be able to pass US Government background investigation for required security clearance
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent education and/or experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years leadership experience.
- Experience in managing Labor Relations issues, collective bargaining negotiations, responding to and investigating grievances.
- Obtain and maintain valid driver’s license.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Logistics, and operations experience preferred but not required
