Job Overview

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers to take drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the food service industry.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, providing solutions as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Basic knowledge of retail math for managing transactions and inventory.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for customer interaction.
- Experience in the food service industry is beneficial; knowledge of food safety practices is preferred.
