Description
Golden Touch Imports specializing in Juniors and Women's apparel for private label and in-house brands. We are dedicated to connecting sourcing, production, and design to deliver exceptional products that resonate with our brand's vision and market trends.
The VP of Product Development will play a pivotal role in leading our product development efforts across Juniors and Women's divisions. This position will oversee a dynamic team both domestically and internationally, ensuring seamless collaboration with design, sourcing and production teams. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in product development, vendor negotiations, garment production, fabric construction, and supply chain management, effectively bridging gaps and driving the product vision from concept to execution.
Responsibilities
Design / Product Development
- Lead the end-to-end product development process
- Oversee fabric and material sourcing
- Oversee communication with overseas offices to execute accurate sampling within required timelines
- Manage vendor relations and negotiation as it relates to product development
- Manage account-specific requirements throughout the development phases, ensuring adherence to production calendars and deadlines
- Improve systems and streamline processes to enhance efficiency
- Hold the team accountable for meeting deadlines and maintaining quality
