POSITION: FOOD AND BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR
Reports to: Food and Beverage Director
Supervises: Dining Room, Pool and Golf Concession Staff
Pay: 40k-50k DOE / Non-Exempt

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations:
- Responsible for supervising dining room service in the main clubhouse along with pool and golf concessions.
- Maintain a high level of member engagement through service hours
- Provide solid leadership and guidance to team members through open communication, coaching, and delivering timely and meaningful feedback and recognition
- POS, Scheduling and Inventory knowledge
- Other duties as assigned or apparent
Job Duties:
- Provides support and assistance with service during peak lunch and dinner periods.
- Assists in hiring and training dining room, pool and golf concession staff.
- Assists in pre, mid and post shift meetings with dining room and pool concession staff.
- Assures correct appearance, cleanliness and safety of dining room and concession areas.
- Train team members on up-selling as well as promoting club events and activities.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency with the ability to provide personalized member services to staff.
- Meet regularly with seasonal staff about club policies, procedures and expected conduct.
- Assures all side-work, opening and closing duties are accomplished by staff.
- Makes suggestions about improvements in dining room and pool service
- Oversees dining reservations and seating in Winged Foot Grille and Ridgewood Bar
- May serve as the clubs opening or closing Manager on Duty.
Certifications:
- Alcohol Training Certificate
- CPR
Physical Requirements:
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel,
- crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
- Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
- Continuous repetitive motions.
- Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
