What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor position at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare?
The AM supervisor is responsible for opening the food service department and routine day-to-day supervisory operations. Must be customer service oriented, displaying a positive personality. Ensures a safe, sanitary operation with adequate foods and staff coverage. Requires all foods are mise en place and correct for café, special functions and room service for the breakfast and lunch meals. May assume duties of or work any food service position. Great communication skills required. Provide staff training and coaching to ensure quality food, service & nutrition at a Destination ‘10’ level. Updates, rounds, and debriefs daily with PM Supervisor and keeps Production Manager and Chef informed. Maintains a noticeable presence in kitchen and is in café during peak meal periods. Performs needed quality audits/checks, including patient rounding, AIDET and other D-10 reports. Maintains a working knowledge of current industry standards and regulations.
Schedule: 5:30am-2:00pm, 10 days per pay period, covering every other weekend.
Required: Current Henry County food handler card
Preferred: Current Serve Safe certificate. Certified Dietary Manager
