Job Description :
The primary purpose of the Director of Quality is to coordinate, develop, and initiate strategies related to performance improvement, infection control, customer service, and employee health. In addition, the Director of Quality acts as a consultant to all staff, providers, and contracted services in understanding, implementing, and evaluating Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities. In addition, this individual will direct the strategies of the Infection Control department in accordance with current applicable guidelines and standards and must also direct the accurate and complete records maintained in that department.
Education / Credentials :
Bachelor's degree
Effective oral and written communications skills
Ability to instruct hospital and clinic personnel
Database, spreadsheet, graphics, and word processing skills
Ability to analyze and problem solve
High level of accuracy, ability to understand instructions, reasoning, and ability to make judgments
1-3 years of hospital experience preferred
