Job Description :
The Materials Surgical Services Coordinator will act as a liaison between the Surgical Services and Materials Management departments to ensure availability of items necessary for patient care.
Responsibilities :
Inventory surgical areas, including the sterile core and the birthing center c-section storeroom daily, replacing needed items and keeping track of charge items, Check on back orders and estimated delivery times, Maintain filing purchase orders, Investigate opportunities for cost savings, Use and promote exceptional customer service at all times, Receive, transport and stock surgical services supplies, Assist with periodic and annual inventory, Troubleshoot / seek out any problems / discrepancies and share with Materials Management & Surgical Services Director.
Education / Credentials :
High School Diploma or equivalent
Associate’s degree or higher
1-3 years of hospital experience
Starting Range : $18.29-20.12
