Unlicensed Orthodontic assistant
Do you want to be a Dentist someday? Are you a pleasant, hard-working and detail-oriented person? Are you willing to learn skills in the dental industry? Since we began this position, six people holding this position are now either in dental school now or are practicing dentists in our community.
Responsibilities :
- Take high quality photographs of orthodontic patients. Note: we will provide training on taking high-quality photos and uploading them to our database.
- Assist the Doctor and Assistants chair side
- Pass Instruments, retract, suction
- Stock drawers and cabinets
- Sterilize orthodontic instruments
- Perform orthodontic laboratory work as directed by our team
- Assist with other administrative office and clinic duties as directed by our team
- Must be willing to become certified in patient Privacy Laws, OSHA rules and regulations, Bloodborne pathogens training, CPR, and Medical emergencies. Note: we will pay for this certification and instruction if you are not already certified.
- Interact positively with patients, especially children
- Use creativity to develop the best workflows
- Learn and manage use of a 3D Printer
