Commercial Delivery Driver (non-CDL)

Summary

We are seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team at our Minneapolis location. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering commercial construction materials and interior finished goods to our clients while ensuring timely and safe transportation. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our commitment to exceptional service and client satisfaction.

This is a full-time position with an opportunity for additional overtime during our busy season (summer). Must be available M-F 5:30 am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull product from stock, prepare and load onto company-owned vehicles for delivery. Our fleet of well-maintained commercial vehicles range from heavy duty pick-up trucks to 26’ box and straight trucks.
• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport building materials to various locations throughout the state.
• Load and unload products efficiently while adhering to company and jobsite safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience as a commercial delivery driver (CDL not required) or in a similar role is preferred.
• Forklift and/or Lull experience a plus but not necessary.
• Must have the ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
• Must be able to perform all job duties in various weather conditions from cold and rain or snow to extreme heat and dusty conditions
• Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry heavy items up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to provide best-in-class customer service when interacting with clients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
