Sales Support Representative Role
The Sales Support Representatives at Golden Waffles serve as the face of our brand, delivering our premium waffle products directly to valued customers. These representatives are responsible for supporting strong relationships with customers, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing exceptional customer service to uphold our reputation for quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel into existing routes to provide supplemental sales support coverage for route vacancies.
- Operate a company truck to deliver products and service equipment, adhering to established routing schedules.
- Maintain respectful and courteous interactions with customers to develop lasting relationships.
- Accurately process customer transactions, including payments, invoices, and inventory management.
- Perform waffle iron maintenance at customer facilities in accordance with company policy.
- Address customer complaints and escalate complex issues to management when necessary.
- Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking.
- Comply with the Fleet Safety Program, traffic laws, and all Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations without exception.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Holding a valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen and maintain a DOT physical certification.
- Acceptable driving, criminal, and credit records are essential.
- The ability to operate a handheld device for processing orders is crucial.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and be persuasive in making sales pitches.
- An independent spirit and the ability to work without direct supervision are necessary.
