Duties
- Daily care of feeding and medicating dogs, cats, and small animals.
- Daily cleaning of dog runs and cat condos - to provide exceptional cleaning standards.
- Provide basic grooming for dogs - baths, nail trims, and ear cleanings.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and well-being at check-in & check-out.
- Understanding the basics of our software, Gingr, to complete check-ins & check-outs and communicate all concerns to the staff about the pet and/or owner.
Experience
- Ability to understand the different temperaments of dog breeds.
- Physical stamina to handle dogs of various sizes and energy levels.
- Previous experience in basic grooming for dogs.
- Any previous experience in the veterinary field is a PLUS!
- Any previous daycare experience is a PLUS!

Pay/Tips
- Once you’ve completed the Kennel Tech training program (which typically takes 3-5 weeks), you will be a part of the tip pool. Tips on a weekly basis average an extra $3-$5/hr for every employee. Taking your pay to $16-$18/hr. (Start pay depends on previous experience.)
