Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable First Aid Instructor to join our team. The First Aid Instructor will develop lesson plans, conduct training sessions, and ensure that all participants are equipped with the necessary skills to respond effectively in emergency situations.
Duties
- Conduct engaging first aid and CPR training sessions for diverse groups of participants.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans that align with established training standards.
- Utilize effective public speaking techniques to communicate key concepts clearly.
- Assess participant understanding through practical demonstrations and written evaluations.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages questions and interaction.
- Stay current with industry standards and best practices in first aid and emergency response.
- Provide feedback to participants on their performance and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other instructors to enhance the overall training program.
Qualifications
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as Lifeguard or Adult Education are preferred.
- Proven experience in public speaking and classroom instruction.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate a diverse audience effectively.
- Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development is highly desirable.
- Ability to engage participants through interactive teaching methods.
