**Job Overview:** We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes.
**Responsibilities:** - Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing - Provide companionship and emotional support - Help with meal preparation/reminders - Perform light housekeeping tasks - Accompany clients to appointments and outings - Monitor and report changes in client's health or behavior -Experience in dementia/alzheimers -Experience with difficult behaviors and elopement. -
**Skills:** - Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred - Compassionate and patient demeanor - Excellent communication skills - Ability to follow instructions and work independently - Understanding of basic medical terminology Join our team of dedicated caregivers and make a difference in the lives of those in need.
The schedule will abide by the following:
Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Proven caregiving experience, particularly in home settings
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and families
- Familiarity with geriatrics and post-acute care environments
- Experience in hospital medicine or trauma care preferred
- Ability to work in various settings, including outpatient and sub-acute care facilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
