Golden Years Homemakers & Companions, a homemaking and companion agency in Plainville, CT is seeking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to run and operate the company's Mental Health Department.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality, compassionate and ethical direct to consumer mental health therapy/counseling to clients
- Complete clinical documentation
- Maintaining and tracking schedule
- Maintain required client contact
- Maintain good standing with the appropriate professional board entities
- Complete and maintain all required continuing education requirements for specific licensure and specializations
- Stay current with updated research and best practices
- Be aware of community referral sources and refer when necessary
- Maintain up to date case files within electronic health record (EHR) system; and,
- Maintain contact with and consulting with third parties and collateral contacts when appropriate
Qualifications
- At time of application, candidates are required to hold a valid license to practice in the mental health field in the State of Connecticut
- Candidates will have experience and an interest in working with children, adolescents and/or adults and families
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Proficient in both English and Spanish preferred
