WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Junior Internal Audit Specialist to join our Internal Audit team.
Location & Schedule Availability
- Washington Terrace, Utah
- Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
- Identify and prioritize risks within the organization.
- Review financial records, statements and reports.
- Analyze data to detect discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Investigate potential fraud.
- Recommend improvements to processes and risk management practices.
- Actively participate in continuing education and credit union-related career development.
Experience, Education & Certification
- Minimum of 1 year of similar or related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree, or working towards, in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
