Landscape Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong desire to contribute to the beautification and maintenance of various landscapes. This role involves physical labor, working with hand tools, and performing various landscaping tasks to ensure the highest quality of service for our clients. The job location is on single property.

Duties

• Dig and prepare soil for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
• Assist in hardscape projects.
• Assist with the Installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Carry out general landscape maintenance tasks such as trimming and weeding.
• Assist with mowing, trimming, and edging lawns, if needed
• Provide tree care services including pruning, planting, and removal as needed.
• Cultivate landscape beds by planting flowers, and other plants while ensuring proper care.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and tools to promote safety and efficiency.
• Snow removal in winter months

Requirements

• Previous experience in landscaping or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with hand tools used in landscaping tasks.
• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of snow removal techniques is a plus.
• .Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• A valid driver’s license may be required depending on job assignments.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
