Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in swimming and physical education. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for educating students of all ages and skill levels in swimming techniques, safety practices, and water confidence. Your role will contribute to creating a positive and safe learning environment that promotes physical fitness and enjoyment in the water.
Duties
- Conduct swim lessons for individuals or groups, ensuring that each session is tailored to the students' skill levels.
- Educate students on water safety, swimming techniques, and proper breathing methods.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
- Maintain a safe and clean pool environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to develop engaging lesson plans and activities.
- Assist in organizing swim events or competitions as needed.
- Provide first aid or emergency response as required, ensuring the well-being of all participants.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with students in a teaching capacity is preferred.
- Strong swimming skills with experience in swim instruction or coaching.
- Background in physical education, health club activities, cheerleading, martial arts, or judo is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students of all ages and backgrounds.
- Certification in lifeguarding or CPR/First Aid is highly desirable.
- A passion for educating others and promoting a healthy lifestyle through swimming.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
