Job description
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Associate to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting the daily operations of our inventory processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with receiving and shipping a variety of products and materials, possess strong organizational skills, and hold a valid forklift certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and ship components, packaging, marketing materials, and accessories accurately and efficiently.
- Receive and distribute bulk and finished cannabis goods, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.
- Accurately enter receiving data into the ERP system; maintain up-to-date records for all inbound and outbound inventory transactions.
- Receive and document supply deliveries by department; ensure inventory systems reflect accurate stock levels.
- Provide administrative support, including:
Ordering facility and office supplies
Printing and organizing manifests and receiving documentation
Supporting green waste management procedures and recordkeeping
- Move inventory between storage and production areas as needed; assist with production staging and post-production reconciliation.
- Reconcile and return finished goods and raw materials from production back into storage.
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently; maintain forklift certification and adhere to warehouse safety protocols.
- Flex work time to other departments as needed by the business.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years old to apply and pass a Level 2 Background Screening.
- Must comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in both office and warm warehouse & greenhouse environments.
- Must be willing to work weekends and late shifts as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in inventory, warehousing, or logistics; cannabis industry experience preferred.
- Experience working with ERP systems for inventory tracking and receiving.
- Forklift trained and certified (must be current and valid).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and processes.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, inventory systems, and general administrative tools.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely and follow all safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of cannabis compliance and regulatory requirements is a plus.
