Position Overview:
As a Trimming Associate at Goldflower, you will specialize in the precise hand-processing of cannabis material to ensure the highest quality standards for our products. Your primary responsibility will be to hand-trim cannabis using a variety of styles and guidelines, contributing to the consistent appearance and quality of our final goods. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to company guidelines, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use hand-trimming techniques to process cannabis according to specific styles and guidelines.
- Ensure trimmed cannabis meets quality standards for consistency, appearance, and product specifications.
- Maintain focus and efficiency to achieve daily production goals while preserving product integrity.
- Inspect cannabis material for quality during trimming, identifying and removing mold, pests, or damaged material.
- Ensure trimmed material aligns with company standards for moisture content, density, and overall quality.
- Communicate quality concerns or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company protocols during trimming activities.
- Adhere to state and federal regulations governing cannabis processing.
- Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of trimming tools, equipment, and the trim room.
- Ensure the workspace remains organized, sanitized, and free of hazards.
- Participate in regular safety training and uphold a safe and compliant workspace.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- Dedication to creating a safe working environment.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods while performing repetitive hand-trimming tasks.
- Capacity to lift and move up to 40 lbs as needed.
- Manual dexterity and precision for handling cannabis material.
Preferred Qualification
- Previous experience in cannabis trimming or processing is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to company-specific techniques and standards.
- Understanding of medical marijuana regulations and commitment to compliance.
