GoldLeaf Print & Packaging is a dynamic company that produces high-quality packaging products for various industries. We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our production team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining different types of machinery in a production environment. This includes following standard operating procedures, monitoring machine performance, and making adjustments as needed to ensure efficient production while adhering to safety guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in a mechanical environment and basic math skills to calculate measurements. Attention to detail and ability to identify current/potential quality issues are also essential. The candidate should be able to follow instructions and standard operating procedures, and physically able to lift and handle materials as needed.
We are looking for a competent Machine Operator with a positive attitude and desire to be part of a small, tight-knit team. Some experience in a print/production environment is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up machines according to specifications, feeding raw materials, monitoring production processes, and adjusting machine settings as necessary.
- Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, identifying and reporting defects.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks like cleaning, lubrication, and minor troubleshooting to prevent downtime.
- FOLLOWING ALL SAFETY PROTOCOLS AND REPORTING ANY HAZARDS OR MALFUNCTIONS.
