Communication Specialist (Hybrid)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Communication Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that enhance our brand visibility and foster positive relationships with various stakeholders. This role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and exceptional writing and interpersonal skills.

• Key Responsibilities:**
• Develop Communication Plans:** Create comprehensive communication strategies that align with organizational goals and target audiences.
• Content Creation:** Write, edit, and produce compelling content for a variety of mediums, including press releases, newsletters, social media, website, and internal communications.
• Stakeholder Engagement:** Collaborate with departments to produce internal communications that promote a cohesive and informed workplace environment.
• Research and Analysis:** Monitor industry trends and provide insights to improve communication strategies and practices.
• Experience researching and incorporating the “voice” and “tone” when ghost writing for executives.
• Ability to consolidate and digest technical information / information from multiple, disparate sources into clear and concise communication.
• Experience maintaining and managing communications repositories, trackers, stakeholder inventories, distribution lists, etc.
• Worked in a communications role in a financial systems/financial environment or with a large-scale transformation in the past.
  
  

**Qualifications:**

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a similar role.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems.
• Experience in media relations and understanding of the media landscape.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with graphic design and video editing software is a plus.
