Job Description
Job Title: Ivalua Training Analyst
Location: Local MD resource – Baltimore, Annapolis
Overview: As a Training Analyst, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs and materials to ensure that employees have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their job functions effectively. You will work closely with various departments to assess training needs, create training content, and measure the effectiveness of training initiatives for the Ivalua system.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs that align with organizational objectives and employee development needs.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to create instructional content, including training manuals, e-learning modules, videos, and interactive workshops.
Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and consultation with managers and stakeholders.
Develop and implement training schedules and coordinate logistics for training sessions.
Deliver end-user and supplier training sessions.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
Revise and enhance training programs based on feedback and evaluation results to ensure continuous improvement.
Support the integration of new technologies and processes into training programs.
Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes.
Provide coaching and support to trainers and facilitators to ensure the successful delivery of training content.
Qualifications:
A minimum of three years of experience in training and development, instructional design, or a related field.
Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, organizational development, instructional design, or a related field from an accredited college/university.
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training techniques.
Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems (LMS).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and effective training content.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess training needs and measure the effectiveness of training programs.
Proficiency in Ivalua and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, or similar.
Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., CPLP, ASTD) is highly desirable.
Familiarity with virtual training platforms and tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
Experience in conducting training needs analyses and developing competency-based training programs.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
