Associate, Banker – Financing Group with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Analyze securities in an investment portfolio and identifying methodologies for restructuring or optimization, including yield pickup, capital relief and improved liquidity. Structure, price and execute interest rate, inflation, foreign currency, credit, and commodity transactions that meet clients’ specific economic and accounting criteria in collaboration with Trading personnel and various other parts of the firm (including the Credit and Legal departments). Requires : Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have two (2) years of experience with : presenting recent market developments and risk management strategies to senior executives and other key decision makers such as Assistant Treasurers and Treasury team members; analyzing financial statements (prepared under US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and International Financial Reporting Standards) and other disclosures in order to identify risk exposures to a variety of financial markets, financial metrics, interest expense, earnings per share, leverage, and enterprise value; analyzing the impact of interest rate and currency derivative solutions on financial statements; and utilizing Microsoft Power Point, Word and Excel, to develop internal and external presentations, create financial models, and analyze data. Must have one (1) year of experience with : executing long-dated cross-currency swaps; negotiating and analyzing ISDA (“International Swaps Dealer Association”) Master Agreements and CSAs (“Credit Support Annexes”) as well as working on trade confirmations and other governing documents related to derivative transactions; and structuring, pricing, and executing interest rate, inflation, foreign currency, credit, and derivative transactions in collaboration with structuring and trading personnel.
