Bringing together traditional and alternative investments, Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management provides clients around the world with a dedicated partnership and focus on long-term performance. As primary investment area within Goldman Sachs, we provide investment and advisory services for pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, financial advisors, and individuals.

  • Institutional sales- Americas Institutional Business within the Client Solutions Group markets GSAM’s investment products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries and advisors. The focus is on building and maintaining long-term client relationships and communicating key themes from the firm’s leading investment professionals. Our team provides investment solutions across all major asset classes (e.g., fixed income, equities and alternatives) and products including mutual funds, ETFs, separate accounts and alternative investments
  • Retail sales- CSG markets GSAM's investment products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries and advisors. The focus is on building and maintaining long-term client relationships and communicating key themes from the firm's leading investment professionals. CSG provides investment solutions across all major asset classes (e.g., fixed income, equities, and alternatives) and products including mutual funds, ETFs, separate accounts and alternative investments. Our Cross Channel sales team sits within US Third Party Wealth and is responsible for marketing Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) Products to financial advisors at Wire houses, Independent Broker Dealers, Regional Broker Dealers & RIAs.
  • Product Management & Development sits within the client business part of our asset management business looking at all aspects of the strategy, research, analysis, design and development of new funds and alternative products for cross-border distribution and product advisory and range management services for our existing range of funds.
  • Marketing is led by the firm’s first Chief Marketing Officer, the marketing function at Goldman Sachs (GS) has unified the discipline, codifying a business-critical function seen as core to the firm’s future growth. As such, GS has built a data and technology enabled team of growth marketers, delivering value for the brand and the business. The organization consists of key Centre of Excellence roles in areas such as Brand, Paid Media, and Content Marketing, as well as marketing leads for each of our revenue divisions. Together, this team collaborates around a unified, scalable, and consistent approach to marketing the brand and its offerings. Our mission is to be a demonstrable force multiplier for the businesses we serve.
    • Within the Global Marketing function sits the Asset Management Marketing team, responsible for end-to-end marketing strategies and programs for the entirety of the business. Marketing helps shape the Goldman Sachs Asset Management brand and protect and grow the business’s reputation. They create and deliver targeted, integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels, paid media and in-person experiences, which broaden our client footprint, deepen relationships with clients, diversify our asset base, and fuel business growth.
  • Consultant relations as some of the most sophisticated investors, investment consultants advise many of GS Asset Management’s clients on their investment strategy and manager selection. The Consultant Relations team works with over 100 investment consultant firms around the world which advise on asset allocation for a diverse set of clients. This requires a deep understanding of clients’ needs, consultants’ approaches, and GS’ investment strategies.
Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0-3 years of prior work experience in a relevant field.
  • Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a variety of industries and businesses
  • Ability to self-direct, analyze and evaluate and form independent judgments
  • Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior management and global stakeholders
  • Commercially savvy with ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential/sensitive information
  • Integrity, ethical standards and sound judgment

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$110000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
