Sustainable & Impact Client Solutions
The role of the Sustainable and Impact Client Solutions team is to ensure we deliver the full depth and breadth of GSAMs Sustainability capabilities to our clients, to deepen our strategic client relationships and to increase assets across our global sales organization. We are seeking an associate to join the team in New York, who will work closely with our global team, in addition to working with our Institutional and Third Party Wealth sales teams in the Americas to deliver client solutions that focus on Sustainability and Impact Investing across public and private markets. In addition, the associate will work with various portfolio management and client teams to support the delivery of our capabilities across different asset classes and across different regions.
Whilst not a pre-requisite a background or experience in Sustainability and ESG would be welcome. The successful candidate will need to be client focused, demonstrate a commitment to a team-oriented culture, have strong organizational skills and excellent communication/presentation skills.

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$170000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.

Responsibilities
- Work with pension plans, insurance companies, corporates, and third party wealth platforms globally to delivery Sustainable and Impact Solutions across industry and regions
- Help communicate our sustainability views with internal and external stakeholders through multiple channels and mediums
- Responsible for internal and external content creation, including newsletters and client materials
- Robust client metrics tracking and ensure client follow ups complete
- Upkeep of centralised ESG/Sustainability materials that are included in RFPs and DDQs
- Help manage and delivery of longer-term client projects. Co-ordination across teams from start through completion
- Ad-hoc preparation of materials for external events, speaking engagement, reporting to senior leadership
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of working experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Interest in building client relationships and a good grounding in financial markets
- Highly detail-oriented, ability to manage competing priorities and strong organizational skills
- Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Sustainability/ESG work experience not a pre-requisite but interest in the field is necessary
- SIE, Series 7 & 63 Licenses, or a commitment to getting these in a timely manner
