GROWTH EQUITY INVESTING: Goldman Sachs Asset Management invests in the full spectrum of alternatives, including private equity, growth equity, private credit, real estate and infrastructure. Since 2003 the Growth Equity business within Goldman Sachs Asset Management comprising more than 65 individuals has invested over $16 billion in companies led by visionary founders and CEOs. We focus exclusively on investments in growth stage and technology-driven companies spanning multiple industries, including enterprise technology, financial technology and healthcare.
RESPONSIBIITIES
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $110000-$125000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.

RESPONSIBIITIES
- Senior Analyst in Growth Equity Investing will be integrally involved with all aspects of the investment cycle including: sourcing, identifying, and evaluating attractive investment themes and opportunities; building relationships with management teams, senior advisors, other investors / bankers, and external industry experts; performing due diligence; orchestrating closing of investments; monitoring investment performance; as well as developing-and implementing value creation strategies at our existing portfolio companies. We are looking for a team member who will thrive in a lean organization and perform well in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification and have an excellent academic and professional record
- Between 1-3 years of experience at a leading investment bank, strategy consulting firm, and / or an investing role
- We are looking for highly motivated, well-rounded team players who are passionate about investing and want to build a long-term career at Goldman Sachs
- Passionate and intellectually curious about technology and growth equity investing. Eager to learn about new concepts and committed to ongoing personal development

- Consistently taking the initiative to drive progress; strong sense of ownership over work and keen to present and debate views and findings
- Strong financial analysis/modeling experience with robust analytical/problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
