We have an exciting opportunity for an Analyst Staff Accountant with our Controllers Group, located in Cohoes, NY.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS :
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, review of ledger postings for accuracy and account reconciliations
- Assist associates with inquiries related to the expenses charged to their departments
- Preparation of internal and external reports or filings
- Participation in year-end audit process including preparation of support for outside auditor
- Verification that proper internal controls are maintained in compliance with SOX requirements
- Assist with processing of cash receipts and balancing of receivables
- Other projects or duties as assigned
