Controllers ensure that the firm meets all the financial control and reporting obligations of a global, regulated, and public financial institution. Our professionals measure the profitability of, and risks associated with, every aspect of the firm’s business. Controllers also ensure that the firm's activities are conducted in compliance with the regulations governing transactions in the financial markets.
The opportunity is within the Regulatory Reporting Controllers Federal Reporting Policy Group (FRPG) team, which provides oversight for the Bank Holding Company (BHC) and Bank Regulatory Reporting Accountability Framework. Responsibilities will focus on the quarterly and monthly governance and control processes to support the accurate and timely submission of reports to the regulators.

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this Jersey City, New Jersey, United States-based position is $85000-$140000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.

Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to key stakeholders on regulatory reporting governance and control matters
- Administer the quarterly control assessment and attestation processes
- Assist in the monitoring and reporting of the accountability model and governance process
- Coordinate the quarterly review of issues impacting BHC and Bank regulatory reporting
- Assist in maintaining and administering the training program for those reports/groups under the Accountability Framework
- Work with the team to facilitate the presentation of regulatory reports and governance matters to the Federal Reserve Reporting Oversight Council (FROC)
- Liaise with Controllers, Risk, Operations, Internal Audit, Quality Assurance functions and external regulators
- Participate in various projects aimed at streamlining and automating processes
- Undergraduate degree in accounting and/or finance
- 3 – 5 years working experience in accounting and/or financial services
- Federal Reserve regulatory reporting experience (e.g., FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031, FR Y-9LP)
- Knowledge or experience in auditing, internal controls or Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and high proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Teamwork and collaboration-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Ability to multitask, operate within deadlines and escalate when appropriate
- Must demonstrate considerable energy, focus, drive and a sense of urgency
