Job Summary & Responsibilities
Controllers Divisional Overview :
Controllers ensure that the firm meets all the financial control and reporting obligations of a global, regulated and public financial institution. In the Controllers Department, our professionals measure the profitability of, and risks associated with, every aspect of the firms business. Controllers also ensure that the firms activities are conducted in compliance with the regulations governing transactions in the financial markets.
DMR Controllers Team :
The Divisional Management Reporting Controllers Team is seeking an Associate level hire.
Principal Responsibilities :
- Prepare daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly / yearly P&L for Global Markets Division
- Review data to be submitted for regulatory reporting requirements
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including analysis of P&L drivers for internal and external reporting
- Prepare various 10-Q / K and earnings release disclosures
- Work closely with Product Controllers and Global Markets Division management to ensure proper understanding and reporting of desk transactions
- Month-end reconciliations to the general ledger
- Assist with project management centered around automation
