We are seeking a driven professional with strong writing, communication and project management skills to work alongside the Private Wealth Management (PWM) Request for Proposal (RFP) Team.
An RFP is a questionnaire that a potential client issues when considering hiring a new investment management provider. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS : HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIALPWM is looking for an RFP Writer (Request for Proposal) who is a highly motivated, team-oriented individual. The role offers an excellent opportunity to develop an in-depth knowledge of the Private Wealth Management business.The RFP Writer will respond to informational requests from institutional prospects and clients, working closely with our Advisors and members of the Portfolio Management Team, Compliance, Legal and other internal business units.Responsibilities include : Collaborating with Advisors, the Portfolio Management Team and other content specialists to develop appropriate responses to address particular prospect and client requestsEnsuring timely and accurate delivery of RFP responses including quality oversight and peer reviewsMaintaining and updating the RFP language repositoryAssisting with ad-hoc inquiries from PWM Advisory Teams globallyContributing to the evolution of RFP the process, technology, projects and resourcesSKILLS & EXPERIENCE WERE LOOKING FORBachelors's Degree requiredBasic knowledge of, and passion for, the investment management business and capital marketsHighly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent project management skillsDetail-oriented with critical reading, writing and editing skills, strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple deadlinesPositive attitude and work ethicStrong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate well, build trust and confidence of colleagues, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialogue and interactions, and collaborate well with others internally to meet prospect and client needsConfidence to work in a fast-paced team environment to meet tight deadlinesStrong skills in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
