RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Goldman Sachs is seeking a Trading Analyst to support the Loan Trading team in New York. Goldman Sachs Securities division is looking to recruit an Analyst to primarily support Senior Traders in operational and administrative functions as well as act as a point person for technological needs on the desk. The trading analyst will help to develop trade ideas, analyze company and industry fundamentals, and build client relationships. They also will communicate market color and investment opportunities to clients, working very closely with the Leveraged Finance Sales and Trading teams.
Working closely with the traders responsible for each sector, the Trading Analyst will be responsible for :
- Coordinating operational and control functions for the desk
- Streamlining the CLO warehouse process including regulatory reporting and new warehouse set up
- Trade booking, matching, and settlement facilitation
- Analyzing US (and some global) companies, establishing trading opportunities on their issuers
- Developing and updating financial one-pagers where relevant
- Working extensively with our Leveraged Finance sales and research teams
- Daily dialogue with investor clients, sales, and research
