What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Camp Counselor position at Goldman Union Camp Institute?
Goldman Union Camp Institute is looking for self-motivated individuals to join our summer 2025 day camp staff.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervise campers: Ensure campers are safe, healthy, and happy during meals, free time, and other activities
- Help campers develop: Help campers plan and evaluate activities, and assist with cleanup
- Ensure safety: Be well-versed in health and safety protocols
- Help campers socialize: Help campers make friends and adjust socially
- Lead activities: Lead campers in outdoor activities, sports, games, and arts and crafts
- Work with other staff: Work with camp directors and other staff to solve problems
- Set a good example: Model positive habits in health, speech, dress, and relationships
