What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Shop Attendant position at GoldOller?
The Golf Shop Attendant will work in the club's golf shop, providing excellent customer service to members and guests. This individual will be responsible for opening and closing the Pro Shop, using a computerized cash register, stocking retail items, answering inquiries, and ensuring the golf shop is clean and orderly.
Location: Canterbury Green Apartments/ Golf Course
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to company policies
- Open and close the Pro Shop
- Provide excellent customer service to members and guests
- Operate a computerized cash register for golf fees and merchandise sales
- Complete registration paperwork
- Maintain order of play and manage tee times
- Answer phone calls and make reservations
- Stock and price retail items
- Assist with inventory count
- Keep the golf shop clean and organized
- Assist with golf cart maintenance
- Report incidents or accidents to the Facility Manager
- Ensure the safety of all patrons
- Perform other duties related to golf course operations as assigned
- Maintain constant surveillance of patrons and respond to emergencies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of one year sales or customer service experience
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Conflict resolution abilities
- Strong customer service aptitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to company dress code
- Familiarity with Point-of-Sale systems, computers, and basic math
- Flexibility in work schedule
