Gold's Gym DCMetro is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Corporate Account Specialist to drive membership growth through strategic corporate partnerships and account management. This role focuses on identifying new corporate opportunities, building relationships with business leaders, and expanding our member base through innovative wellness programs tailored to meet the needs of our corporate partners.
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Operations, the Corporate Account Specialist will play a vital role in strengthening Gold's Gym DCMetro's reputation as a leader in fitness and wellness, while helping businesses enhance their employee wellness initiative
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Corporate Sales & Outreach
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new corporate accounts and partnerships.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective corporate clients through research, networking, and targeted outreach.
- Conduct in-person and virtual presentations to highlight the benefits of Gold's Gym memberships for employees and corporate wellness programs.
- 2. Account Management & Retention
- Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, ensuring smooth onboarding and ongoing support.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing accounts to maximize engagement and retention.
- Work collaboratively with corporate partners to develop wellness solutions tailored to their specific needs.
- 3. Sales Performance & Analytics
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales goals for corporate memberships and program participation.
- Use data-driven insights to evaluate sales performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Manage client interactions and sales activities using CRM and operating systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- 4. Collaboration & Teamwork
- Partner with the Marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and materials for corporate outreach.
- Collaborate with gym operations and fitness teams to deliver a seamless and engaging experience for corporate members.
- Coordinate with internal teams to enhance and expand corporate wellness offerings.
- 5. Strategic Market Development
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to position Gold's Gym as the preferred fitness provider for corporate wellness programs.
- Provide recommendations on pricing, promotions, and value-added services to enhance the appeal of corporate membership packages.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to upsell additional services and programs to existing corporate partners.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Outside B2B sales experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred. Health & Wellness experience preferred.
- Experience & relationships with HR / Benefits Directors, Group Health Insurance Brokers or Employee Benefits Solutions is highly desired.
- Experience developing C-level relationships with strong presentation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned market & adjacent territories.
- An ideal candidate must be goal oriented, but flexible. The ability to progress and accomplish goals in a changing environment will ensure success.
- Ability to demonstrate effective communication techniques and sales strategies to groups and individuals.
- Must be able to handle a robust and growing client base. The ideal candidate strives to build relationships and looks for ways to increase their book of business with both new accounts & existing account growth.
- Must be able to work as part of a regional leadership team, share ideas, offer and receive constructive feedback.
