Goldstein’s Bagels & Bialys in Boise, ID is looking for one Counter Server to join our 21 person strong team. We are located on 611 S. 8th St.. Our ideal candidate is a self-driven, motivated, and engaged food service professional who is looking for a daytime server position. Food service background preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests entering and leaving the business
- Answer any questions the customers may have
- Prepare and serve food to guests
- Set up and break down workstations
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Accurately process all cash and credit payments
- Assist kitchen staff as needed
- Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables
- Study and maintain expert knowledge of all menu items and ingredients
- Opening and closing duties
Qualifications
- Responsible and proven ability to maintain scheduling commitments
- Ability to problem solve quickly concerns customers may have
- Good communication skills with customers
- Basic mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
