Engineering Assistant
Salary Range $45.20-$57.69 per hour
Who we are and who we’re looking for: The Goleta Sanitary District is comprised of a group
of individuals who care deeply about protecting public health and the environment. We value
innovation, commitment, and excellence as the region’s authority on water resource recovery
through wastewater treatment and reclamation. This position reports to the Engineering
Manager and is part of the District’s administrative team.
Duties: Under general supervision of the Engineering Manager, the Engineering Assistant
supports the Engineering Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing engineering and
infrastructure projects. This role involves technical, administrative, and fieldwork to ensure the
District’s facilities, systems, and projects meet operational and safety standards.
The essential duties and responsibilities include assisting the Engineering Manager in the
implementation of various tasks including: project support, technical documentation, facility
