What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at Golf Cart Delivery Driver San Antonio?
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a Dodge 2500 and 20ft aluminum trailer to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts and logbooks, are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and operating equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate equipment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet delivery schedules
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate completion of paperwork and delivery documentation
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor as needed during loading/unloading
Note: Previous experience as a courier or in route driving is preferred but not required.
