Golf Operations Captain – Golf VX (Full-Time)

Golf VX is looking for a strong Golf Operations Captain, you'll be a key player in ensuring exceptional experiences for both our guests and team. You’ll lead shifts, guide your team, and help create an energetic, welcoming atmosphere in our indoor golf simulator environment. We believe in empowering our leaders to grow personally and professionally while inspiring others to do the same.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist guests in the golf bays, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
• Lead shifts with energy, motivating the team to deliver top-tier service and quality.
• Supervise both Front of House and Back of House operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Manage food and beverage inventory, track stock, and support event coordination.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture, offering coaching and support to team members.
• Communicate effectively across departments to meet guest needs and operational goals.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and operational excellence.
• Assist the General Manager in driving sales and organizing events to elevate guest experiences.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions with care, following all procedures for payment processing.
• Assist in opening/closing procedures, including cleaning, restocking, and preparing the venue for the next shift.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and safety policies, including confirming guest age and monitoring alcohol consumption.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to serve alcohol in accordance with state laws.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Have a strong leadership mindset with the ability to inspire and guide others.
• Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Be committed to providing exceptional guest service and team support.
• Have experience in inventory management, cash handling, and food safety.
• Be open to learning and continuously improving, including mastering new tasks and recipes.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
